Last January, the Atlanta Hawks hosted the cornerstone of our 2016 Black History celebration, the inaugural MOSAIC: Race & Gender in Sports event. MOSAIC is an acronym for Model of Shaping Atlanta through Inclusive Conversations. Champs Sports and DJ Khaled worked together to not only donate 75 pairs of Nike Air Max sneakers to deserving youth doing great things in Atlanta but also DJ Khaled surprised the teens, signed autographs and took photos.
